Artist Statement
My paintings explore the delicate tension between lightness and emotional weight. Through figurative imagery and recurring elements such as spheres and balloons, I create suspended spaces where colour becomes both presence and possibility.
I am interested in how apparent joy and irony can coexist with deeper layers of reflection. The vibrant palette suggests a sense of levity, while the stillness of the figures reveals a quieter introspection.
Floating forms become metaphors for thoughts, memories and inner transformations, balancing between gravity and imagination. In this dialogue between colour and weight, I seek a visual language that embraces both playfulness and depth.
