About the Artist

The Weight of Lightness

I am an Italian contemporary artist based in Olbia, Sardinia. Before returning to Italy, I spent twelve years living in Berlin, a city that deeply shaped the way I observe people, emotions and everyday life.

My paintings live somewhere between surrealism, irony and quiet introspection. I am fascinated by the way unexpected images can make us smile while gently revealing something more vulnerable beneath the surface.

Painting became a deeply personal process during a period of profound change in my life. What began as a way of processing emotions gradually evolved into a visual language of its own. For me, every painting is an attempt to transform experiences into something lighter without taking away their emotional weight.

My Philosophy

The Visual Language

Recurring elements such as oversized silhouettes, balloons, crossword patterns, hybrid creatures and playful distortions are not symbols with fixed meanings. They are invitations to pause, imagine and find your own story inside the work.

I don't try and I wouldn't like to provide answers. I simply hope that each painting leaves enough space for curiosity, recognition and perhaps even a smile.
